  • Compliance rules: Georgia businesses are required to submit copies of 1099 returns with Form G-1003 (Withholding Income Statement Transmittal Form) reflecting payments that are subject to GA income tax withholding. A penalty applies when a business files 1099 forms on paper that are required to be filed electronically.
